This author is not the typical Autistic you might see on tv...

In high school I studied music (among other things) and later I discovered other sides of the performing arts.

Through the first five years of college I majored in Dance, then Linguistics, then I switched to Psychology at a university with one of the premier Industrial/Organizational Psychology programs in the country.

After college I worked in finance for a year. You can easily retire early after just five years in the position I had, But I didn't stay in that job long enough to retire early.

It wasn't merely to challenge myself that I left before getting rich quickly. I knew myself well enough to know that, if I retired at that age and that stage in life, I would meet the curse of the lottery winner: losing a fortune as quickly as it comes in. Having grown up poor, I would have been ill-advised to enjoy sudden gains in wealth.

So I took the knowledge, and I got out of the finance sector

After that I started mentoring and worked as a college advisor for 6 years. In that time I started buying properties, I wrote a book, I built an education business, I had fun.

After I took an early retirement from academic advising, my wife and I built our marketing company that we still run today. Lately I've been getting into entomology and pharmacology...

But I digress, I hope you or someone you love can use the tools I've placed in Level Up Life: Advice From Autistic Fathers. These are my notes on many things that have served me well in navigating the world of man.
